  • Early morning dog walk
  • The last flight of Atlantis in black and white. <br /> <br /> Black and white was the only way I could get the contrast I wanted and not loose the detail of the flames.
  • The last flight of Space Shuttle Atlantis.<br /> <br /> A gray day, but the flight went off as scheduled. This is one of my favorite photos but it's too gray. I couldn't get the effect I wanted, so I went to black and white. The black and white has better contrast, but I still like the color and reflection of the flames.
  • Forgotten
  • A black-crowned night heron eyes the dead fish floating by... trying to decide if he wants any for breakfast. He looked closely a few times, but stayed on his perch instead.
  • Roof-top door<br /> <br /> Not sure why this door caught my eye, but it did. I think this is my favorite shot of it. I decided I had to choose just one.... sigh!
  • Today not tomorrow.<br /> <br /> This is a tomorrow photo. I didn't take the photo I saw "today". I waited until tomorrow... the light would be better. Unfortunately, the plants grew and the photo I saw was no longer there. When I look at this photo, all I can see is the photo I missed.... Take your photos today, not tomorrow.
  • As a present to myself. I got to the beach late enough for the sunrise. This time of year, I'm at work during sunrise.
